Thursday PM Meditation - Wisdom
The following meditation is based upon the Essenes' topics... the daily meditations or communions are designed to be used morning and evening in addition to the noon practice called the Sevenfold Peace. At the beginning of each meditation, the following prologue is recited:
"I enter the spaciousness of this timeless and infinite Garden with reverence to the Source and Energy of Life, to the Earth and all its fullness, to the spiritual teachers of all traditions, to the liberating purity of truth, and with reverence to all who courageously walk the Path of Spirit..."
You are encouraged to spend time sitting with the following statement before continuing to read.
"Spirit of Wisdom, descend upon my mind and enlighten all my thoughts"
***********
Thoughts fly around my thinking mind... here and there... to the past...to the future...
Quiet my mind into the present... into the stillness... that I may sense the touch of eternity...
Play the music of the angels so I may find peace in the rhythm of silence...
Spirit of Wisdom, fill me with the light of connection...
Wisdom begins and ends with inner knowing ... the attention to something much greater than our thinking processes. The interconnected web of Being has ways to let us know...
The Essenes sensed there is a cosmic ocean of all thought that pervades all space and contains all thought, which is the highest and most powerful of all cosmic energies, always and everlastingly present. In presence, we can open to this reservoir of ageless wisdom... often through the portal of intuitive 'pops' and sudden insight. We might use our mind and analytical processes to build a focal point of tension which leads to the breakthrough of wisdom and insight.
In a real sense, we are one with the Spirit of Wisdom... letting go of old beliefs, we are opening to the unlimited potential and reality of who we truly are... beyond ego... We are all-ways more than we think we are...We are One with Source energy and all that entails!
"Spirit of Wisdom, descend upon my mind and enlighten all my thoughts."
Peace be with you!
