This Perfect Storm

Storms come across the open ocean to busy beaches and rocky coasts alike…

Darkness comes as surely as daybreak

Teams win and teams lose

Milk spills and stumbles happen

Life situations are what they are…

Cycles come and go

Each moment has its unique pattern of energies

Birth and death are partners

The full moons and the new moons are the same moon

Yet, from our perspective, totally opposite …

Sometime the light seems non-existent except for artificial idols

Yet the light is there… and here

Dark nights are part of the cycling of life… the winters of retreat

Non-action

Reflection

Integration

Healing

Germination deep in the fertile soil

Preparing for new growth

There are days that only have questions and wandering

Sitting on nothing

And everything

I am reminded that other days existed and will come… but all consist of the present…

The ever-present creating source force of energetic dynamism called 'Life'

Tomorrows are here and were here now

Yesterdays are always here and never here now

Time twists around and in upon itself until all that is left is timeless time…

Yesterday and tomorrow and today is one

There is no division, just as there is no division in any of Life

Ever-present

Everywhere present

All time and no time

And I sit in the mist

Boundless ...

And confined by boundaries I create

In the ethereal soup of creative genius and Love

The perfect Storm rolls through the ages and onto the shores of form

And we interpret as 'bad' or 'good'

From worn out lenses

And tribal tales

The energy of the perfect storm of this day

Interrupts our trances

And calls to us

"Wake Up! …

Be aware of this 'Now'

Let your mind be blown apart by what is True

Let your eyes see the reSourcefullness

And ongoing co-creating

Hear the whispers and shouts of

Life's Essential SPiRiT

Beyond the thoughts and fantasies you create…

Be in this perfect storm

And be the Life you are

One with all that is and ever has been and ever will be…

Surrender to the Perfect Storm

To this moment in your spiraling

Always moving

Always coming and going

Birthing and dying

Synthesizing action and being

Into One Harmonious Dance"

Welcome to Wednesday March 24, 2010

A pleasant reminder that no matter what is going on now.... it will change... since the present moment is always Now and is always in motion.... within all the change is the still center of being...

Let us affirm together that we are One with Life itself..One with all that is...

Let us affirm that we are not breathing Life.... but rather Life is breathing us...

In the moment of this day, Sundance Center and John are also in transition...

The residence at 300 Huntington Drive is still up for sale...

As most of you know, the marriage contract between Connie and I was officially terminated in January 2010. While this has been an amicable transition in our relationship, I wish to be clear that I was the one that initiated the change.... Connie continues working and serving in Doha, Qatar and will most likely be there for the next 2-3 years. Plans are for her to return to 300 Huntington for the 2 weeks prior to the house closing date... whenever that is determined...

I do not know, at this time, where I will go, but Sundance Center and I (along with pet, Lucia) are trusting the process and know we will be here now...wherever that may be... The egoic mind likes to know everything all the time...I will trust that when it is time to know, then it will be known.... I can envision a quiet natural setting that may provide living situation for some part-time care-taking or other work for a few hours per week...

You may be wondering about my exploring moving to Colorado... At this time, I do not sense clarity about moving to the Denver, Colorado area  or Sunrise Ranch in Loveland, CO... I am open to where Life may lead and also open to staying in the Lancaster County area where I am at this time...

One night, some years ago now, I had a long dream that was much like a shamanic journey.... It culminated in a room where I saw a symbol on the floor of a small chamber with 4 doors and a voice asking me "Whose Life is it anyway?"  I took it as an other deep moment of calling to renewal of Spirit in my life ... It was also a call and reminder to ego that Life was one and what I thought was my life that somehow belonged to me.... this vehicle labeled John was in reality One with Life's Source... that Life itself is a miraclulous gift of Grace and it was Life that is breathing through me... At times we get lost in the idea that it is our Life and that we somewhat own it... I have come to the opinion that the best I can do through my choices is to cooperate with the stewardship of Life wherever we are...

Life has provided many rich experiences in this lifetime... from many various service and work opportunities to various avenues of creative expression... through this stained glass window labeled John and Sundance Center....

Now it is time to truly allow the emergence of the New into the Now... for each one of us...

I hear from others as well that they are experiencing what feels like the end of a cycle in their lives.... and we are reminded that the new beginnings are emerging and on their way... it is our job to be with the uncertainty, the unknowing, and the confusion of transitions, realizing that these are natural ego reactions to the uncertainty and lack of control ...

It is a time to be in touch with the highest reality within our being... to find the stillness of the present moment and surrender...letting go to what is... while also envisioning what our preferences are... and what our next steps of service might be...

Let us find the Courage to Be in the face of the unknown and the illusions that fear might create from time to time... If we continually wake up to the Eternal Moment beyond time and space consciousness, we can find the unifying center of stillness the Always IS...

Let us Be the best advertisement for Love in our everyday actions and words... especially with those we encounter in our homes, works, and everyday routines... Be the cliche-ed "Change you wish to see"....

May Life Energy...Life's Greatest Spirit,,, Bless us with waking moments of Peace...of Love... and of Joy...

May those who are disappointed, sad, and experiencing loss, allow those emotions to take there quick flow back to Source... through allowing what is... allowing light and winds of Spirit to clear the darkness in its perfect time...

What is guiding and life coaching?

Guiding or Coaching always begins in the present encounter as we meet together. In the now, we discover and connect to what is real. The guide-coach brings confidence and trust in the Life process to the present situation.

As a guide, I do not know the answers for you, but have confidence they reside within you. A guide knows the territory and can help you find your way through a particular situation. A guide works in collaboration with you and your deepest ideals and direction, helping you to find your way.

A coach can help you develop and strengthen specific skills and abilities you wish to focus upon to help improve the quality of your life. A coach has certain knowledge and experience combined with the skills of a teacher that enhance your own skills and trains you to be more effective in expressing your creative Life Energy in the world.

Transformation and healing can occur in an instant or over time. Skills and abilities take practice.

I trust Life… the Essential Energy or Source… We are all connected at unseen levels and often for unknown purposes. All of life is energy and interacting dynamics are always in transition. My intention is to help each person find a balance and harmony in Life and to teach techniques and methods that you can apply yourself.

In some situations it may be necessary for the guide or coach to act as an external unifying center until you gain the insight and methods to find that unifying center of Source Energy within. We are here to help each other heal and to live as consciously as possible in order to express creative Life energy in our unique way. The goal is always to walk through the portal of expanded consciousness into this present moment… liberated  into positive energy, real experience of your essence, love, and harmony.

What is your approach?
The approach I most depend upon is an intuition in the moment. Personal training and education have taken me through most major approaches in psychology and spiritual traditions, including energy balancing and other alternative approaches toward wellness.
Some of the major areas are: Transpersonal and Humanistic psychologies, Psychosynthesis, Jungian and Projective Dream Work, EFT (emotional freedom technologies), NLP (neuro-linguistic programming), Spiritual Guidance and Pastoral Counseling, Energy therapies and healing techniques, Mediation and Conflict Resolution, Meditation, Consciousness Studies, Guided Imagery, Visualization, Intuitive 'Pops'… and more...

What training and experience do you have?
While Life is always our best teacher, I also earned a BA degree in psychology from Gordon College in Wenham, MA; a Masters degree (M.Ed.) in Counseling from Millersville University (PA), several years of doctoral studies and training in Psychosynthesis at the Synthesis Graduate School, San Francisco, CA;  2-1/2 years of graduate studies in Jungian Studies, Counseling, and Ministry at Andover-Newton Theological School, Newton, MA. I am also an ordained inter-faith minister in the Priesthood of Melchizedek through the Sanctuary or the Beloved in Conesus, NY.

Work experience has included coaching and guiding individuals and groups in private practice, family therapy, addictions counseling, dream-work sessions and groups, training sessions and seminars, chaplaincy, ministry, corporate and transition management, project management, business development and organizational assessment.

Waking to a new name...

I believe it was Rumi who said: " When you wake, do not go back to sleep."

We are meeting folks along the path who are waking up to an expanded and inclusive reality ... and committing to staying awake...

Sundance Center continues transitioning and holding the vision of conscious living in the moment...

We are not who we and others may think we are....we are much more than the label parents gave to us... or the projections people place upon us as they are trapped in the timeline memories of past actions or identities... let go into the present moment...

This morning as I meditated and meet a wise native 'grandfather' he called me H'tuchi... I later came up with the spelling... he pronounced it: Hah-tooch-ee ...

What is your name... before you were labeled? Listen for the voice within who calls you by your Spirit name... You may call if you wish to do a special guided imagery to discover your name... or you can just make one up that feels right and matches your essence...
