Finding Answers... "West" Medicine

The Medicine Wheel direction of "WEST"

West is where the sun sets and dusk comes... the qualities of "West" brings introspection... finding the place inside oneself in which the answers become self evident.

When doing our introspection, how do we move beyond the egoic mind that can think things into oblivion... a few suggestions...

• Focus your attention on the concern, situation, or question.... may want to write it as simple and concisely as possible without 'analysis'...
• You might use imagery and send your questions into the clouds which can symbolize the unseen unconscious higher self... see or hear or sense what words or images come back to you...
• Pray in your regular way in what ever way is comfortable to you...
• Suggest it to your dreamtime to see if you are present information in a dream...
• Write the concern on a small piece of paper and commit it to the sacred flame of a candle...
• Be aware of certain things you suddenly noticed that didn't stand out to you before...
• Be aware of the intuitive "pops" that show up unannounced... You may want to use an image of a blank screen and see what images appear as you as you focus on your concern... usually the first one is the best even if it doesn't initially make sense...

Feel free to ask for some comments from me if you wish... I don't know, but we may always be more than we think we were...
