A Real Christmas...
I find myself with a woman I know... she is holding an infant... I am embracing them both and realize it is our child even though we have never had intercourse... as my gaze meets the child's eyes, it is as if I am looking into the cosmic Source of love, being, and pure awareness... a sense of joy floods through my body as this cosmic infant and I are connected in deep awareness... I wake to the day with the ecstasy of joy, peace and love coursing through every cell in my body and lay in bed just allowing the wondrous sensations to infuse my whole being.
This spiritual epiphany came many years ago during a time in which I was ingesting the "Course in Miracles" material... To me this is the real Christmas... when the child of cosmic consciousness becomes conscious in our own awareness...
Life is always present and presenting the new in each moment... I am grateful for the sometimes brief and yet huge encounters with those deepest aspects of who we really are ... Of course this inner babe is the "son or daughter of 'God'" ...of Source...in a way that goes way beyond the dogma and doctrines of any organized religion... the spiritual core gifting itself into our body and real world experience is the best of all presents...
May this holiday season remind us how deeply connected we are to Life at its deepest levels and to each other and our world!
